Bug CSCut80868 - Feedback Spaces in PDF Filename cause download link to be broken in IE11

There is a known defect in IE 11 and Java that prevents secure mail recipients from being able to open PDF attachments.

I believe Workaround #2 should be to DISABLE the applet in the encryption profile, not to enable the applet.

Thank you for your information.

I will update our bug managers of this and advise for their feedback in this regard.

I personally was able to replicate the issue of PDF attachments not being opened (with the space characters in the name) with or without it enabled. [However I have also encountered users who corrected the behaviour with it enabled assuming their Java is up to date and functional on that select PC]

However at this stage, I have been advised this defect is currently being tracked to be fixed -- the ETA Of such is not yet available for me to share.
