One of the ESA send a warning message

Is it a hardware failure or something?

The Warning message is:

A RAID-event has occurred:

(0x0008/FATAL) - Battery has failed and cannot support data retention. Please replace the battery

This is a hardware issue with your RAID battery. You'll need to contact Cisco support to initiate an investigation which will most likely will result in an RMA.

Hi Zhen,

This error on the x80 model appliances is linked to the below defect.

TAC would need to run a RAID diagnostic tool to determine the current SuperCap model on the appliance which could result in RMA for the entire appliance if the output from the tool suggests.
