Hi,
Recently someone sent me a message that exceeds the limit of the attached file size (is configured at 10 MB). The problem is that the virtual ESA should generate a bounce message to the sender, but it's not doing this (Or I suppose this). So Please I need help with this. I tried checking the mail_logs and got a result like this:
From :<> is a valid parameter?
I want to know if the problem is the ESA.
Thanks.

Hi Enzo,
Ironport returns the following error message when the remote mail server tries to inject a message that exceeds size limits.
552 #5.3.4 message size exceeds limit
Bounce emails, generally have an empty envelope sender which is valid. This is so as to prevent someone from replying to the bounce message.
The screenshot provided shows the device generated the bounce email, however the bounce email was rejected by hotmail as they have your IP listed on their blocklist.
Thank You!

Hi Libin,
Thanks for the answer and clarification.
I'll investigate further this.
