Hi all,
I have a requirement. Our company has some domian name, like abc.com, abc.com.cn, partner.abc.com, partner.abc.com.cn. Can I configure in ESA to identity that mailbox. I want to configure whole domain but not single alias. Can ESA achieve this aim? THX!

Hello,
It sounds like you may be referring to setting up the Recipient Access Table (RAT) under Mail Policies? If so, this can be indeed achieved by using hostnames and partial hostnames. (screenshot below)
More info in our ASyncOS User Guide here : Recipient Access Table (RAT)
Thanks!

Dear Dennis,
Em...Maybe I hadn't express clearly. Our LDAP property only has abc.com but not abc.com.cn.
So, we want to send email to abc.com.cn auto mapping to abc.com. We try domain mapping function. But it seem useless..... I can see something
[]> print
@abc.com.cn --> @abc.com
Domain Map Table
There are currently 1 Domain Mappings.
Domain Mapping is: enabled
Choose the operation you want to perform:
But is has been commit? I opertaion as guide.

Hello,
Yes, if that's what you're looking for then Domain Mapping would be the solution. I can see you added one entry, but you may wish to also add more depending on any other partial domain names.
The need for which original domain you wish to enter would be dependent on your requirements. You'll also want to make sure you're applying it to the correct listener, unless of course you only have one.
If it's still not working, then maybe you can tell us a bit more about how you're testing, along with Sender/ETC?
IE:
@.abc.com --> @abc.com
@.abc.com.cn --> @abc.com
@abc.com.cn --> @abc.com

Dear dmccabej,
I added domainmap as you said, but useless. Our test way is send a email to xxx@abc.com.cn and then view log. If we can see the log sended to xxx@abc.com, I think it's OK. Any suggestion to us ? THX!

Hello,
Are you seeing any specific errors? Anything in the message tracking and/or mail_logs?
I created the same domain map profile and my test is successful (see below). Notice that I sent the email using @abc.com.cn as the recipient, but in the mail_logs we can see it change to @abc.com using domain mapping.

Dear dmccabej,
I can see the log that send emial to aaa@abc.com.cn & aaa@abc.com is OK.
But domainmap is failure. Meanwhile, I want to know whether it need save or commit after it can print something like
@abc.com.cn --> @abc.com
I found something that SMTP route is configure like
abc.com 192.168.1.2 192.168.1.3
abc.com.cn 192.168.1.3 192.168.1.2
C:\Users\admin>nslookup mail.abc.com
server: UnKnown
Address: 10.16.11.10
name: mail.abc.com
Address: 10.16.7.20
C:\Users\admin>nslookup mail.abc.com.cn
server: UnKnown
Address: 10.16.11.10
name: mail.abc.com.cn
Address: 10.16.7.20

Hello,
Yes, you'll definitely need to commit and save the changes after they have been made. Has that step been completed?
After creating the Domain Mapping table, you'll need to hit 'Enter' a few times until you're back at the main prompt, and then type 'commit' to save your changes.
Thanks!
