Does it recommended to use secure gateway with APP (Advanced Phishing Protection) ?

I believe, ETD (Email Threat Defense) has the capabilities of secure gateway & APP ?

Yes-ish....

APP is an add on to ESA's, but it's 3rd-party and EOL has been announced.

ETD has the capability that APP gave you, but it is NOT a gateway. Mail gets delivered in and then processed.

CES/ESA process mail before it gets to mailboxes.
