Email Security Plug-in Custome Deployment - Bad common folder structure

All,

I hope someone can provided some feedback on this issue.

We are currently looking to deploy the email security plug-in 7-3-1-005 with a custom config file.

I've setup the deployment per the instructions for mass deployment.

Cisco.exe /exenoui /qn usecustomconfig="\\server\sharedfolderwithconfig\"

The package runs correctly and installs. The issue comes to the common folder installed on the workstation. It is defaulting to the following structure "c:\programdata\cisco\Cisco IronPort Email Security Plug-InCommon\ " Without a  hierarchy of ... plu-in \ common\ config files...

It's not creating the correct structure for the config files. IE: c:\programdata\cisco\Cisco IronPort Email Security Plug-In\Common\"

Anyone can provided a clue to how to resolve?

Try it with similar to the following example:

C:\Users\robsherw\Desktop>CiscoIronPortEmailSecurity_7-3-0-102.exe /exenoui /qn
UseCustomConfig="C:\plugin_test"

If you leave of the \ from the end... should create w/o issue...

Let me know.

Thank you for your suggestion that resolved it. I thought I tried the configuration but I guess I did not.

Just FYI the documentation (Cisco IronPort Email Security Plug-in 7.3 Admin Guide) for mass deployment has differences/typo's in the custom config deployment on section 3-8 vs 3-20.

Good!

Noted, sir.  We have requests open to get this corrected.  With the 7.4 (or to be determined) release, hopefully we'll have these answered/corrected.
