Enquire for command usage

Hello,

I would like to some enquire about below commands for daily operation.

Command: repengstatus

Command: sbsstatus

I would like to know as:-

1) How old does the engine need to be in order to determine for the update or verify the process on the appliance is working?

2) What is the purpose of this command and need to check the status in daily operation by using this command?

3) How to check the latest version of the Reputation Engine?

Hello,

Those commands would be for reviewing the SenderBase and Reputation Engine status. Most of our engines do not update that often, so it would be normal not to see any updates for months at a time. For definitions and rules, however, those should be updating daily. You could use something like the command below to check the status of the other main engines and their associated definitions and rules. 

mail.rtp.esa> enginestatus all
