ESA & WSA Evaluation

Hi! I'd like to test both the  Cisco Web Security Appliance & Cisco Email Security Appliance, is it possible to obtain an evaluation license?

You can download the virtual appliances and request a demo license.  

ESA: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/security/email-security-virtual-appliance/tsd-products-support-series-home.html

WSA: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/security/web-security-virtual-appliance/tsd-products-support-series-home.html

SMA: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/security/content-security-management-virtual-appliance/tsd-products-support-series-home.html

Click on Download Software to complete.  For trial appliances, you can download the x000v model.

More information can be obtained in the install guide.

Demo licenses are available for request through the License Portal.

Once there, click on Get Other Licenses > Demo and Evaluation > Security Products > Cisco Virtual Appliance Demo License and select the product you would like - WSA or ESA.

Follow the rest of the license request wizard to complete.

Once you get your license, be sure to follow our Best Practices for Virtual ESA/WSA/SMA License Installation for installation instructions.

It`s currently not possible anymore to obtain an eval license on your own.

Just a hint: Try to contact a Cisco partner from your country and ask them to evaluate the product.

I encountered the same issue as above, I contacted licensing@cisco.com and within an hour Cisco had called me directly, then issued me with an eval license.

 Taking into account this was done on a Saturday then it has be pretty awesome work by Cisco TAC.

I can now lab the WSA and carry on studying 300-207!

Same issue here, can Cisco confirm is these are no longer available?

Looks like they did restructure the Product Family and associated sub-menus.  I will update my article.
