Fail - Search for Email Address in Sender Verification Exception Table

Exception 968 lists an email address to Reject. Nothing special about the address - 5 chars, a dot, 7 chars then a @ then 18 chars domain name and .com. Like Xxxxx.Xxxxxxx@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.com

But when we use the Find Sender Verification Exception... can't find it.

Suggestions?

SMTP connection is setup up. Source IP = HAT that has a mail flow policy attached.

At the mail flow policy level, you have a checkbox.

Is it checked for that particular flow?

Yes.

Not too sure that my concern was clear.

Step1. Mail Policies -> Exception Table (Sender Verification Exception Table page).

Step 2. Add Sender Verification Exception... button

Step 3. put email address in "Exception" field, select Reject radio button, select Submit button

Step 4. Commit change (and all that entails)

Step 5. Check Sender Verification Exception Table for email address just added (yep, it's there).

Step 6 Mail Policies -> Exception Table (Sender Verification Exception Table page) ... put email address just added in "Search for Email Address" filed and press Find.

Step 7. Address not found!!!

Hi,

Sorry, I misunderstood your issue. I though emails were not correctly processed based on your exception table list.

Going back, maybe there's an issue with the size list.

You export the config and search for <domain_exception_table> string which is the header for sender domain exception list.

Search there for your email and see if it's present. I suspect you're hitting a bug.
