Hello,

How to get current number of mailboxes on Cisco ESA

Hello,

As previously mentioned, you'll ideally want to grab the active mailbox number on your mail server (IE: Exchange/Notes/ETC). Your Sales Engineer/Account Manager and/or Re-seller should be able to assist with confirming the correct information you would need for the renewal.

The seat count (1500 in this case) does not have to be 100% and is more or less an approximation of your current number of mailboxes.

Thanks!

Hello,

The ESA does not hold any mailboxes. Are you referring to seat count for licensing?

If so, you can grab this information by using featurekey from the CLI.

Thanks!

-Dennis M.

Yes this info for license, we already requested number of mailboxes of current license

as per your note we can get number of that using feature key from CLI right ?

but can we get current used mailboxes number not all included in license we need to get number of active mailboxes

You can't get that directly from the ESA. You'll have to look at your mail system.

Could you help me to read this

Module Quantity
File Reputation 0
Outbreak Filters 1500
IronPort Anti-Spam 1500
Sophos Anti-Virus 1500
File Analysis 0
Bounce Verification 1
Incoming Mail Handling 1
IronPort Email Encryption 1500
RSA Email Data Loss Prevention 1500
McAfee 1

is 1500 the number where we order in license according to mailboxes or this number if different

Yes. That license is for 1500 users.
