Internal system sending email again and again after moving to Cloud ESA

Hi

One of our internal mailing out system (using SMTP and IronPort relay) is sending the same email again and again like it doesn't receive confirmation from IronPort. This started happening since we moved to Cloud ESA from on-premises.

Also, in tracking I a long delay between

09 Jun 2017 14:39:39 (GMT +10:00) (ICID 67046) RELAY sender group RELAYLIST match x.x.x.x SBRS -1.7
09 Jun 2017 14:51:09 (GMT +10:00) Start message 41763 on incoming connection (ICID 67046).

Also at the end sometimes is see connection exceeded maximum limit message.

Hi,

You can try reviewing the connection limits for the relay mail flow policy and the listener.

A packet capture for the internal mailing system IP would also help narrow down the cause.
