Hi,
I just want to know if there is a way to change not only the from smtp part but also the friendly name part?
The Masquerade table works, but it's a bit annoying that one part of the sender isn't changed...
If I put the following in the Masquerading table
one.user@company.com masqueraded.user@company.com it looks like this in the other end
One User <masqueraded.user@company.com>
It makes perfect sense but I would like to change One User or remove that part.
Anyone knows how to?
Regards
Micke

Hey,
Masquerading can be configured to rewrite Envelope Sender and the friendly To, From, CC headers. This setting is applied per listener.
It's configurable under CLI>listenerconfig>edit>masquerade>config. Don't forget to commit the changes with commit.
Good luck!

Choose the operation you want to perform:
- CONFIG - Configure masqueraded headers.

Hi,
Thank you for your reply, but I may be a bit slow, but I do not get it to work. I must be doing something wrong, because I don't seem to be able to change or remove the friendly part.

Micke
