Message not accepted due to failed RFC compliance

Whenever I send an email to a specific yahoo email user with some attachment, the email was bounced with the following error. What is the probable solution?

5.3.0 - Other mail system problem 554-Message not accepted due to failed RFC compliance

Hi MdGolamRabbi7510,
I've found this is because the 'To:' field contains too many characters. An easy way to test is BCC the recipients and if that's the issue the email will be delivered as expected.

Cheers,

Shane

Thanks. I'm trying with your suggestion.

Hi ,

To resolve the issue, the key is to figure out where it is not compliant. You might want to review RFC5322 for the requirements. E.g., your message must have exactly one From address, a Date and a Subject, and the lines should not be more the 78 characters long (after encoding).

I hope the above helps.

Cheers,
Pratham
