Hello Support,

We have received from Ironport an alert

"The Warning message is:

The python was restarted due to an error. A debug file was generated for troubleshooting. Please contact your authorized support center.

Version: 11.0.0-274"

Do you have any idea? We don't have any subscription for graymail and we do not use it.

Hello,

Are you utilizing URL Filtering? If so, a lot of the time the python cores stem from an incorrectly set value under the websecurityadvancedconfig setting in the CLI. (NOTE: This is set at machine-level - If you have a cluster you'll need to change the value on each ESA one at a time)

You can review the details in the following FN : https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/field-notices/641/fn64111.html

Thanks!

9 times out of 10, this is referring to the URL filtering service restarting.

Field notice FN64111 has been known to cause python (URL filtering) to restart. So, I would recommend that you apply the config change at the bottom of FN64111 and monitor for any python restarts: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/field-notices/641/fn64111.html

If that doesn't resolve the issue, you are better off opening a TAC case so we can determine the exact cause.

I hope that helps!
