Hi,
Does this new feature work for someone?
I always get the error:
--Extraction Failure. Reason : The password protected attachment 'Test.doc' could not be scanned successfully.

Need to remember that password extraction is on Best-effort basis.

Have few questions

1. Was the password available in Email Body or was configured in "Probable Password for Analysis" under Security Services ->Scan Behavior -> Edit Scan Behavior.

if it was part of email body, can you share the same email body for analysis ?

if can not share here, rise a TAC case.

2. What was the version of the doc file?

supported version MS Doc file version : Word 97-2004

1. Yes, the Password is stored in "Probable Password for Analysis"
2. It is an empty E-Mail with a blank Word 97-2003 File (.doc). A pdf document with the same password (Start123) does not work either.
(The doc is created with Word 365 / the pdf encryption with pdf24 )

Thank you for all the info, Looks like its a bug, we are analyzing it...

one more info need, can the share the 14.0 ESA build number

Also can you share you observation with some content in email body (not the password of the file )
