Hi,
I have ASA-5508-K9 installed in my network with dual ISP link. And now I want to configure the following.
1. Want to stop the attachment on web-mail (gmail, yahoo, rediffmail etc) larger than 1 MB, means no any user can send any file above than 1 MB from my network to outside.
2. The attachment restriction not applicable on outlook express, means If I configured any gmail account on outlook express then they can send any file with any size.
Is this possible with my firewall or not.
If any one have any other solution without firewall then please suggest me that option too.
Thanks

Hi Anand,
Please post your queries related to firewall on the ASA support forums.
The ESA device allows you to configure the allowed email size on the HAT configuration of mail flow policies and would reject the connections if the size limit is exceeded.
Thank You!

Hi Libin,
Thanks for your suggestion about the ASA support forums.
I am going to post on that forum too.

The firewall itself can't do that.
On a WSA, you can stop the attachment upload but there's no size limit option. You need the "Application Visibility and Control" feature to do this.
You may be able to do it with the Firepower IPS features that can run on some firewalls... check with your sales team.
