A question was raised by our Threat Intelligence team asking if we can restrict outbound email based on the GEOLOCATION of the host that we are connecting to? I know we could use the TLD of the recipients email address, but can we interrogate the DNS Host name or even better the GEOLOCATION of the receiving host and make a delivery decision based on that?
Thanks for all feedback.

ESA supports GEOLOCATION option only to restrict/control which IP address/hostnames can initiate SMTP connections to the ESA. But there's no GEO location option to restrict connections made by ESA to external SMTP servers.
