what happen if all feature keys of ESA expired

Hello,

what happen if all feature keys of ESA expired, will the traffic still pass through Cisco ESA without any inspection or traffic will be dropped ?

will it differ if incoming or outgoing traffic ?

Once your license/feature keys expire - those services will be disable and not perform.  There are perpetual keys on the appliance, so these never expire --- of which, Incoming Mail Handling will still allow mail to flow/process.
