Adding CardDAV, prompting for password

Hi all,

Using Meraki MDM, I am deploying a CardDAV server configuration to devices via the Contacts payload.

However, the password field is not being delivered to the devices, and users must enter it manually before the CardDAV server will work.

This issue occurs on iOS 18.5 and 18.6

Is this expected behavior? I have tested this on multiple devices and also with simpler passwords to rule out any special character issues.

Last week I openend a ticket indeed for this issue.

I did discover, it works 1 time. But once you make a change/update on the Contacts policy the password will not be delivered to the device anymore.
