Best recommended book for sourcefire/firepower

Hi All,

Any recommended book to learn cisco sourcefire/firepower from zero to hero??

That one looks pretty sketchy. Only 120 pages and it's self-published. The description mentions it covers "Configure Cisco Firepower Thread Defence" (sic).

 

A much better (and peer-reviewed) book published not too long ago is @Nazmul Rajib 's "Cisco Firepower Threat Defense".

This is rather good book, but not for the latest version:

Main principles will still apply though and I liked it.

I purchased the same book and it has been very good.

If interested, Cisco starts certification Cyber OPS in December. There will be materials available for it, which covers AMP as well.

new Cisco book that just came out on Cisco Firepower 6.x and FTD
