Cisco ISE: No alerts for rejected/unauthorized connection attempts

Hello,

We are not receiving alarms/alerts when an unauthorized attempt to connect to a port is made.  For example, If someone brings an unauthorized laptop and tries to plug-in, we want to be alerted.

I have enabled all alarms under Administration | Settings | Alarm Settings and we tested but do not receive alarms when we are denied access to a port.  Please help.

what is switch is this, and what configuration you have ( can you post show run )

Hi,

ISE doesn't have alarms for your requirement. You need to have a logging
server to collect syslogs from ISE or NAD switch and alert accordingly.
But you can't send alerts directly from ISE based on this.
