Pretty new to AMP for endpoints. I've been reading about Endpoint Isolation and just wondering what is the benefit of allowing DNS and/or DHCP on an isolated endpoint.

Thanks

If you want to be able to force the endpoint to do anything without actually being physically in front of the machine, it will need an IP and will need to be able to resolve DNS...

So, if you need it to get patched, AV updates, etc., it has to be on the network.

Is that all that's needed (IP and DNS)  to be able to access the endpoint for investigation or to stop isolation?
