We recently had to deploy 100+ iPhones in a hurry, changing to a new service provider before a major event. The Hostname of every new device is showing as "iPhone" in Secure Endpoint Advantage (AMP) even though each device is named for its user. This happened because the service provider, trying to be helpful, updated the iOS on every new device then wiped them before we worked with the users. Their update process let the phone register in AMP with the generic "iPhone" hostname, and now no matter what we do, the Hostname in AMP won't update. We tried removing the Cisco Security app from a device, deleting it from AMP and giving it some time, then adding it back in, but it comes back exactly the same, even with the same GUID. Is there a way to completely clear that cached device info/GUID from AMP before we add it back? Or another way to force it to update to the current Hostname?

Hello @Thalen D ,
did a short test in my environment. The hostname for the mobile device in my lab was changed within minutes.
QQ, if you take a look at the computer properties, was is the last seen timestamp?
Greetings,
Thorsten
