Is a reboot necessary when updating AMP from 7.1.5.11523 to 7.2.7.11687?

Is a reboot necessary when updating AMP from 7.1.5.11523 to 7.2.7.11687?    I asked a similar question to cisco a long time ago and was told that if the 1st or 2nd number in the version number changes, then a reboot is necessary.  So when I deployed the update to 7.2.7.11687, I was expecting a reboot to take place.   That didn't happen.  These are my settings.

What am I doing wrong or was I misinformed?

The AMP Development team has been taking strides to avoid required reboots on updates starting with the 7.x series.  Upgrading from 7.1.5 to 7.2.7 should not require a reboot.  Going forward, reboots should not be required from 7.x to higher versions.  If a reboot does become a requirement for an update, the portal should display that requirement.

After 7.x the number of reboots required went down to almost zero.
7.2.3 to 7.2.7 needed one, but 7.1.5 to 7.2.7 shouldn't.
