Is FireAMP communication through port 32137 clear text?

According to the following documentation: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/firepower/630/configuration/guide/fpmc-config-guide-v63/security__internet_access__and_communication_ports.pdf

The port 32137 is a legacy port for cloud communication and should use 443 instead.

I wonder whether communications via the port 32137 are in clear text?

Thanks,

Hi,

AMP is using 443 if there is SSL connection, if not it will use the TCP port 32137 which is legacy and is not over SSL.

I hope that helps.

Cheers,
