Hi All,
I like to know whether I will need to get the Security Plus license "ASA5505-SEC-PL=" for my ASA5505-50-BUN-K9, if I intend to support 25 concurrent SSL VPN user connecting to this ASA? Or I just need to purchase either the 25 SSL VPN Premiun User license "L-ASA-SSL-25=" or the SSL VPN Essential license "ASA-AC-E-5505=" will do?
Best regards,
Jonathan Ng

Look at the ASA 5505 licensing matrix at
Anyconnect licenses (either Essentials or Premium) can be applied to the base ASA 5505 and do NOT require a Sec Plus license.

Hi kmccourt,
Thanks for the info. So if I only need to enable the ASA5505 to support more than 10 IPsec VPN session and not SSL VPN seesion, I should go for the Security Plus license, right?

Correct. For more than 10 IPsec v1 connections you would need a Sec Plus license.
I think that you need Anyconnect licenses for IPsec v2.
