CURWB Mobility Design

Hi All,

      Regarding Cisco Ultra Reliable Wireless Backhaul topology , I have a query on configurations as well as connectivity mode. Consider a scenario , a moving vehicle has 3 FM 4500 Mobi radios, connecting to way side radio(FM 4500Mobi radios ,number of radios are 3 ). Configured via layer 3 subnet. How does the train radios and way side radios to be connected? Is it point to point , or point to multi point?. What is the configuration required in aggregation device(Instead of MPLS) which isn't fluid mesh gateway ,replaced by Cisco Catalyst switch? FYI Kindly check the attachment .

This type of scenario would be accomplished using Cisco Ultra-Reliable Wireless Backhaul (Cisco URWB) Fluidity mode of operation.

A Cisco URWB device is required to be the wayside mesh-end to implement the network—this function cannot be replaced by the Catalyst switch. The size and complexity of the wayside network would dictate what type of device would be the mesh end and if a dedicated URWB gateway would be required.
