IE 3X00 Recovery Passwords guide

I'd like to know how to recover and initialize passwords for the 3000 series. I'd like to change only passwords, not factory reset, is there a possible way?

This document does not include a document for recovering IE switch passwords.

I still haven't been able to find a solution. It appears that if the ID and password are lost, a factory reset is ultimately the only option.
