Hi,
We are interested in Cisco Umbrella, but I do not understand what Cisco Umbrella offers that OpenDNS Free does not. Understanding that Cisco Umbrella is for business users and Open DNS for home users. Do they offer the same features and the general population is expected to honor using the products appropriately. If there are any links that compare both opendns free and the different options for Cisco Umbrella, please share.
Thanks
Nki

The answer to this question is quite broad, as Cisco Umbrella offers many additional features from integrations (e.g. AD, Network infrastructure, other security products/tools) to reporting and much more.
However, strictly from a security standpoint the most significant difference between OpenDNS home and Cisco Umbrella is centred around the intelligent proxy functionality.
Rather than the standard category-based content filtering that both products share, the Intelligent Proxy sends risky domains for further analysis with numerous enhancements including the following:
The Cisco Umbrella Roaming Client also offers IP-layer enforcement for compatible client devices, within certain packages.
All of these features significantly enhance the security provided by appropriate versions of Cisco Umbrella in comparison to the OpenDNS Home product.
