in our QA tier we have this oracle database job that is showing correctly the database icon. in prod job we do not see the database icon. our admin are using transporter to move the job from QA to prod. the other problem is that we cannot view (open) any of those jobs in both QA and Prod tier. please advise. thanks.

Hi Warren,
In both screenshots, the Oracle adapter icon appears to be missing. Have you always had the Oracle adapter running? Or has this service been newly added?
Check to see if the Master is licensed for Oracle Adapter by going through Acitivities -> Register License. If it is, then verify the connections, and sort by type to find Oracle adapter to check the status of the connection. It appears the Oracle Adapter package did not load properly in which case you would have to stop and restart the Tidal Master, you may also need to move the oracleapps.pkg from \TIDAL\Scheduler\master\services and drop that back into the config folder (then start up Tidal Master).

hi derrick,
in test tier i can see the oracle adapter icon.
in QA and Prod there is no oracle adapter icon. both QA and Prod we do not have add/edit job access. i think it is because we (apps developer) do not add/edit access.
our admin can see the oracle adapter icon in Prod but they can't see the oracle adapter icon on the job.

Hi Warren,
Ahhh...Earlier I had suspected the Oracle package may not have loaded up properly but this sounds more like a permissioning issue now. You're absolutely on the right track regarding add/edit job access. Please check with your Tidal Administrators.
