CPO - Raise Process Event

Hello,

Could somebody elaborate the Raise Process Event activity further in depth. What are the pros? cons? capabilities? how it works internally? I'd probably keep the scope as internal use cases, but external use cases are also welcome.

I've looked at the information provided in the CPO 3.4 User Guide, but I'm trying to dig out as much as I can regarding this activity.

I just learned to use this activity.  It looks like it's similar to create a "Task" (Create Alert, Create Incident...).

I do not see it has a "Wait for completion flag like task does.  However, I would expect it to perform better, since it does not have to create an entry and save it to DB, like task.
