Email Event Defination clarification

I am using email Event Defination to create the email event to scan a  mail but i do not find any option to mention  sender or receiver of email like abc@gmail.com but i can see option for Email connection.could anybody help on this basically i have to scan a email to perform the variable action

From the left-hand navigation pane scroll down to Administration > Connection, Sort by Type and look for Adapter Service, and platform is Email to check if you have an email adapter connection already setup. If not, then you can add an email connection and populate the following:

Email connection name

Email user <- recipient; and should be a regular Tidal user with an inbox to be monitored

Email Server

and Protocol

Once defined, you can then go back into your Email Event and select that email connection
