max open cursors exceeded

                   We have an Oracle RAC DB (11.2.0.3) serving as our Tidal Repository. We upgraded to Tidal Version 6.0.3.235 a week ago. We received the max open cursors error. The install doc says to increase to 1000, but we were already at that level. Is the suggestion to just keep increasing until the error stops occuring?

If you are using Oracle and you get the message

Max open cursors exceeded, you need to increase the open_cursors

value from the default (50) to a value of 1000. Contact your Database Administrator to have this value changed in your database initialization file.

I highly recomend contacting support on this one to get an answer and i would be very interested in the response.

Max open cursors is a bug CSCue36335. Trying to get more info on it now. But from what we have see the max used is around 50 until some event happens then a couple of sessions in the TES schem a go up to the hundreds with some aparently tryig to  get more than 500.
