Hi Team,
Is there any limit on the no of objects that can be grouped together in a single TAP file?
We added some new objects to an already existing TAP file and we couldnt create a TAP file out of it. Object count is 35 in total. (20 processes, 15 extended target properties, String variables and properties.)
Its failing with a "Connection closed forcibly by the remote host" error.
We could create TAP files with lesser no of objects though. Is there a limit or is there a time out value specific while creating the TAP files.
Appreciate your response.
Regards,
Greg

Depending on complex the contnet you could run into timeouts and general database issues. The OOTB SAP tap has some 160+ processes in it, so it can get bigger if you have the power to run with it.
It might be a better practice(and for ease of use) to separate out some content and make multiple taps.
If you are seeing issues with ETPs and slowness there are quite a few bug fixes on the client side for those. You'd need to be on 2.3.1 with the HF or 2.3.2 to take advantage of that.

Thanks Shaun for your reply.
We will break the objects and try it again.
We are planning to move to 2.3 soon, but are there any available hot fixes for 2.2 to overcome this?

Greg
