Usage of ParseDate

Hi,

Can anyone please provide me how to use ParseDate activity?

Scenario:

   >>   I have a Date value in string variable : 09/08/2012 06:11 AM

   >>   Need to convert this string to Date format:         MM/'dd/yyyy hh:mm tt

put the date format string into the Format String field, put the date into the input string.

Are you getting an unexpected result or ?

Yes i was getting an error "String was not recognized as a valid DateTime."  Is there any specific format the input String /Format String should be ? I dont understan dwhat is this error
