Disable ND in router interface

Hello,

In my external interface having IPv6, I like to drop ND so that connected external devices will not get any ND advertisement.

What is the equivilant syntex for "ipv6 nd supress-ra" in CISCO ASR 1013 Router having IOS version 15.2. There is no available option for ipv6 nd in the CLI.

Fakrul,

You cannot drop ND and should not because it works as ARP we had in IPv4. IPv6 does not have ARP and broadcast and it is replaced by NDP.

You can surely suppress RA (router advertisement) which is a mechanism to assign IP to the neighboring device (like DHCP).

Thanks for your response. How can I drop RD in ASR IOS as it is not supporting the syntex stated earlier. I am getting few deviation in the new ios.
