Master data log using AXL APIs vs. CUCM CDR Log

Hi,

Can CUCM in any infrastructure share the same IP and user credentials, for an API access to retrieve CDR log and a data through AXL APIs?

To be more precise, we have been polling CUCM cdr log and now we will be adding a support to poll master data from cucm using AXL Apis.

The CUCM details need to be entered in our environment as a system to poll the data from.

We wanted to verify if the CUCM host address (IP) and user credentials to authenticate API access in both the cases, are unique in most of the infrastructure or not?

Hi Seema,

You can use the same application user across different CUCM APIs. However, each API will require a specific role to be enabled for that user. The user for AXL APIs must have the "Standard AXL API Access" role. This role is found in the "Standard CCM Super Users" Group.
