Passwordless - Proximity push delay

Currently we are testing Duo Passwordless with proximity push for Duo Mobile. Works fantastic.
There is a delay of over 20 seconds between when I click "Sign-In" in Windows and when it pings my phone for an approval.
Generally takes between 20-22 seconds for this to happen. I thought it was just my device but seeing the same results on other devices we have. Just wondering if that is normal and if there is any changes I can make that might speed that up?
Thanks!

My gut feeling from experience:

  • When installed into the Android "Personal" profile, 10s.
  • When installed into the Android "Work" profile, 10s to 20s, depending on the brand.  Worst on Samsung's.

Thanks Philip. We don't have any android users who separate their profiles but we are seeing a long lag on Samsung and Pixel devices. But iPhones and the Motorola Razr 2025 work great with almost no lag. Kind of wondering if it's more of a Windows bluetooth stack or driver issue. Will keep investigating and report back if I find anything useful.

Is it by any chance only devices running Android 16 that have the issue?

Android 16 added rate limits and other restrictions around Bluetooth proximity messages.
