I'm having some dificulties make the multicast working inside a multi AS inter-AS VPN setup.
The setup is like this, based on Option C.
PE(AS1)--RR(AS1)--ASBR1(AS1)-ASBR1(AS2)--RR(AS2)--ASBR2(AS2)---ASBR1(AS3)--PE(AS3)
All is fine between each 2 AS-es, I have multicast working and unicast too.
Between AS1 and AS3 only unicast is working inside VRF.
Setup is done using end-to-end LSP, all Loopbacks are know and use L-BGP for label distribution, so since unicast is fine I don't suspect a MPLS issue.
In all core network I use SSM, same MDT from AS1 to AS3 crossing AS2.
There is a situation when multicast works from AS1 to AS3, if I create same VRF with same MDT inside AS2 (the transit AS).
Since I did not found any similar setup anyone who saw or did before please share some idea.
It could not work from the start, but as I said didn't found a similar setup or somewhere written that it doesn't work.
