I never understood why Cisco by default leaves the new applications and content categories wide open versus blocking it by default. I would prefer to have to go open something occasionally rather than having to go adjust ever single new item to a block when it appears. I'm guessing it's a fear of being sued because they are blocking services but I'm a school district and for the most part we want things locked down tightly.
Additionally, I would love if they would stack the policies from top to bottom so that I don't have to make the same changes on each policy unless I'm not doing something right.
There are so many things I like about the product but they need to have a customer advisory committee put together and listen to the things that could be changed to make the management more appealing. Education is huge on the controls and I'm always trying to find ways to increase functionality with minimal effort. Thanks
