unable to migrate to mpp

hi all,

we're required to migrate our Cisco Phones ( CP-7841 ) to Multiplatform.
Unfortunately we're having trouble installing the required firmware that were provided to us.

We tried the steps in Cisco IP Phone 7800 and 8800 Series Migration Guide (On-Premises to Multiplatform Phones) - Migration Process [Support] - Cisco but unfortunately the phone fails to migrate with an error message 'Internal Phone error'.

We got a 'Cisco Order Delivery' with the licenses for the files, the firmware was downloaded from here https://software.cisco.com/download/home/286319896/type/286320168/release/12.0.4SR1?catid=280789323

These files were transeferred to the CM (http) and the TFTP Server.

If we reset a phone, it seems to be trying to install the migration firmware. after it fails it restores the configuration from the 
Cisco Unified Call Manager.

Has anyone had a similar experience and could provide us with some insight?
