AAA login local with no username.

aaa authentication login default group tacacs+ local is coded on a router. What would happen if there is no username defined on the router and access to Tacacs is disabled when tyring to dial in thru the AUX port? there are NO passwords coded on the Aux lines nor login local.

I think I found my answer. When using LOCAL option in the AAA authentication login..

a USERNAME must be specified. Since the router has no username coded then access is most likely disabled until Tacacs is back online or password recovy is attempted. The confusing part was that the router kept asking for a username when none was configured.
