ACS 3.0 WIN2K - Is password encrypted when logging into ACS ?

I was wondering, when you intially log into the ACS for admin purposes, is the password that is sent to the ACS server encrypted. If so, what type of encryption ?

It’s just HTTP so I’m guessing that’s clear text. I can’t find anything on Cisco’s site to say either way. We only administer from the console so no password are crossing the network.

Yes it is sent in Clear text....

if you want it encrypted you need to get an SSL certificate for your site
