ACS 5.2 /opt disk issues

Dear Cisco,

We are having issues with our /opt slice on our VM. A few weeks ago logging stopt running

and this because of 100% full.

Our reseller suggested to install Patch #10, so we did, and restarted both systems (primary + secundary)

Our disk issue is still there, normally there should be automatic purges (150G), we have an /opt

disk of 350G and it is full, there is a root patch, but our reseller still hasn't opened a TAC case to

resolve the issue, are there other bypasses to heal the system ?

Many thanks,

If you have an nfs repository, you can connect the the ACS to this and then from the cli run the following command "backup-staging-url..." once ACS connects to the nfs repository it will purge its data over to it.

Patch 10 will not fix the issue, also what patch level are you currently on?

Thanks,

Tarik Admani

Dear Tarik,

We are running Patch #10 (comming from #4).

We will give the backup-staging-url command a try.

We heard there is a root patch to be able to access the system through linux commands,

I suppose it is not accessible for end users ?

The problem is our ACS (and logs) are heavily used and we are desperately seeking

a solution.

Many thanks,
