Hi,
We are planning to upgrade our ACS server SNS 3415 appliance from 5.4 to 5.5 or 5.6 as 5.4 is struggling to talk to AD which is on 2012 R2 for wireless authentication. I have downloaded both the images now for SNS appliance (5.5 & 5.6) , which one should I go for ? any suggestions please ?
Also, What is the best way to transfer image into SNS appliance from my laptop as I have trouble opting for easiest way of tftp file transfer which use to be so easy with switches & routers.
Appreciate your suggestions.
Best regards

Hello Sundeep-
Support for Microsoft Server 2012 was added in ACS version 5.5
With that being said, I would still recommend that you upgrade to the latest (5.6) version due to all of the bug fixes.
In the past I have used a free FTP application called "FreeFTPd" (link below) to configure an FTP server on my Windows Laptop. Then I configure ACS with an FTP repository that points to the FTP server running on my laptop. I would then perform the upgrade and then remove the FTP configs
