Hello.
Before upgrading ACS 5.5 to 5.8, I applied the last patch 10.
After that backup fails and I'm not able to modify or create users.
This is the error message
“One or more fields contains Invalid characters like ', ), (, ", + sign. Please remove them and try again”
Patch is now removed and all works fine.
Ideas?
Thanks.
Regards.
Andrea

I am developing an upgrade plan and I've been researching what possible issues I may encounter during the upgrade and I came across this post.
I'll be also upgrading from v 5.5 to 5.8.1
What characters are you gentlemen referring to and what area within ACS are you referring to?
Thanks in advance for your assistance!

Thanks for your reply Andrea!
Where "exactly" in ACS is that I need to remove those characters?
Thanks in advance!

Hi,
I installed a fresh copy of ACS 5.8.1.4. When I try to make changes at local administrators (System Administration > ... > Administrators > Accounts), I have the error message "“One or more fields contains Invalid characters like ', ), (, ", + sign. Please remove them and try again” ".
My administrators' fields don't have these characters.
There is any fix to version 5.8.1.4?
Is it possible to make available the CSCuq61347 link because I can't access to that?
