Hi,
i want to create a backup from my ACS Server with a custom name.
When i create a backup and enter ACSBackup as the filename prefix and backup is run on August 07, 2012 at 20:37 hours, then ACS creates the backup file InstanceName-ACSBackup-120807-2037.tar.gpg. But i want a format like this: InstanceName-ACSBackup-2012_08_06.tar.gpg.
Is this possible with a kind of variable name like ACSBackup-%year%_%month%_%day%.tar.gpg to change the complete name of the Backup file?
Thomas
Thomas,
The suffix is not configurable. The system executes this once the backup is triggered:

I feared this.
What is, when i create a local disk repository schedule a backup to this repository. Then i have a backup file on the local disk. and with a copy command from ACS cli i can copy this file to a ftp repository with different name.
Is it possible to schedule this copy command?
Thomas
Thomas,
Here are the scheduler commands you can run - http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/net_mgmt/cisco_secure_access_control_system/5.2/command/reference/cli_app_a.html#wp1895563
However, I dont know how you will be able to dynamically change the timestamp for it to be accurate.
thanks,
