Hello,

Last week we had a lot of electrical failure. Since these problems, our ACS Appliance 1113 is not booting anymore.

At startup we have the following message :

Press <ESC> to boot....6

And here it stops booting.

Moreover, the front Unit Identification LED is blinking (amber)

At this point, the ACS blocks and need to be manually reboot.

Does anyone has any idea on what going wrong ?

Thanks a lot for your help.

Hello Bruno,

please check the following link for led status.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/products/sw/secursw/ps5338/products_installation_guide_chapter09186a0080203018.html

for

System health LED->>> Amber = Degraded

Power On/Off LED->>>>Amber = Standby Mode

so as this happened after power outage i would recommend the following:

1) test with re-imaging the device , and make sure you have valid backup from your ACS.

this is to isolate if major issues happened to OS ( software ) due to power outage.

2) if problem keep happening after that , get the ACS replaced ,as this might caused a damage in ACS resources ( HD , memory ....)

Kind regards

Talal
