ACS configuration issue

Hi I configure ACS 5.1 based on the below link. I do not know why I cannot create the new rule after click on the "Create" button(please see the first picture attached). When I click it, I got no any reaction. Based the link, it should produce another windows box like the second picture attached. Did I miss some step? Thank you

Hi,

Please do not use Chrome as it is an unsupported browser and can lead to database corruption on ACS.

Here is the link to download the ACS 5.6 version:

https://software.cisco.com/download/release.html?mdfid=286281502&flowid=73108&softwareid=282766937&release=5.6.0.22&relind=AVAILABLE&rellifecycle=&reltype=latest

Latest version is 5.8:

Hi,

Can you change the browser, use Mozilla Firefox and test?

Do you still the same issue on it as well?

Aditya

Thanks for your reply. Initially, I used Firefox, and I got an error message(please picture attached). then I searched how to resolve it. Someone resolved the issue by changing Firefox to IE. When I use IE, the "Create" button has not any reaction if i click on it.

Hi,

Can you restart the ACS process?

Use the command acs stop and after the services stop use acs start.

Try this and check if this helps.

Also the version you are using is EOL/EOS:

After I changed to Chrome, it started to work, but some icons in there cannot show up.

It would be great if the ACS can be upgraded. I do not know where to download ACS 5.4 or 5.6

Thank you so much!!

Always happy to help :)

Actually, I realize I have not resolved the issue. I tried several web browsers firefox, ie, in different versions, and chrome. all of these cannot work. attached picture is produced when i wanted to create rule via clicking "Create" button in Firefox.

Hi,

It can be a DB issue.

Did you upgrade the ACS?

Also, are you not able to create any rule on the ACS or just happening for few rules?

Aditya
