Hi,
In our network we have implemented mac based authentication for wired users using acs. But i only have 1 ACS 1113 appliance but do have the s/w for ACS server.
Can i do some sorts of configuration in such a manner that if the acs appliance goes down users can still login into network by the acs server.
is it possible? if so then what would be the config into switches for this??

Hi,
In the configuration of your AAA server you have to set up another authentication server, that is you have to add the IP of the new server.
I hope this helps.
Best regards.
Massimiliano.

i know this Serafino. My question was: whether failover will take place between ACS appliance & ACS server????

Yes, that does not matter. Failover can also happen between acs and IAS but replication feature will not be available.
